The cartoon centers on Bosko throwing a surprise birthday party for Honey. He arrives at her house, whistling in the rain, and instructs the hidden guests to stay quiet. Chaos ensues as Honey’s dog causes commotion and her kitten, Wilber, gets trapped under a flower pot. Despite missing the "Surprise!" moment, Wilber eventually escapes, only to fall into a mouse trap and later plunge directly into Honey’s birthday cake, splattering frosting on Bosko’s face.
