MASSIVE AVALANCHE THUNDERS DOWN MOUNTAIN<br />WITH VID<br />BY LAKSHYARTHA SHARMA<br />A massive avalanche was captured thundering down the North Annapurna region of Nepal, sending a towering wave of snow roaring across the mountainside within seconds.<br />Heavy snowfall and unstable ice layers triggered the sudden collapse, causing huge volumes of snow to surge down the ridge. <br />The dramatic moment unfolded in an instant.<br />Emon Hossain from Safipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh, who was visiting Nepal at the time, filmed the avalanche as it unfolded right in front of him.<br />Fortunately, according to Emon no trekkers were harmed in the incident.<br />One user commented: "Hope everyone's safe."<br />ENDS
