One person has died and 170 homes have been damaged following a large fire outbreak in Japan. The fire began on the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 18, in a residential area in the Saganoseki district, 478 miles southwest of Tokyo, according to Japanese newspapers Asahi Shimbun and Yomiuri Shimbun. On Wednesday, fire officials continued to tackle the fire, which is yet to be extinguished, per Yomiuri Shimbun.
