A judge has told Reform UK’s former leader in Wales he “compromised the integrity” of the European Parliament and undermined trust in democratic institutions when he took bribes to make pro-Russian statements when he was a Ukip and Brexit Party MEP.Nathan Gill, 52, was jailed for 10-and-a-half years after pleading guilty to eight counts of bribery between December 2018 and July 2019, when he was a Ukip and Brexit Party MEP.He later led Reform UK's campaign in the Welsh Parliament elections in 2021 but is no longer a member of the party.
