President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro praised relations with China and personally thanked President Xi Jinping for 'solidarity and support' - and his Huawei phone - amid tensions with the US, while speaking on Monday in Caracas.<br /><br />"China-Venezuela relationship passes the test fully, and this moment has served to deepen and strengthen it on all fronts of work today. So in that letter, President Xi Jinping confirms paragraph by paragraph, written in his own hand, his solidarity and support for all of Venezuela," said Maduro.<br /><br />He also showed his Huawei smartphone, which he claimed was a personal gift from Xi, specifying the security features of the device as 'un-interceptable.'<br /><br />"Here I have my Huawei phone. This Huawei was given to me by President Xi Jinping. Look, it is already more than two years old, and it works well, perfect. Huawei. I recommend it. No one can intercept it; it is un-interceptable," said the leader of Venezuela.<br /><br />Maduro also stated that the country is experiencing a 'growing movement of international solidarity' in the face of the ongoing conflict with the United States.<br /><br />"Faced with these threats, psychological, political and diplomatic wars, whatever they do, however they do it, and wherever they do it, they will not be able to defeat Venezuela.
