A brave bunch of buffaloes chased away a pride of lions after one lunged at a member of the herd.<br /> <br />Amos Odupapa was leading a tour through Maasai Mara, Kenya, when five lions set their sights on a herd of more than 150 buffalo.<br /> <br />Dramatic footage captured the moment when one of the predators jumped on the back of a buffalo that had broken away from the group.<br /> <br />After the unsuccessful hunt, the rest of the buffalo decided to turn the tables and chase the lions across the savannah.<br /> <br />Amos said: “In most cases the buffaloes win encounters like this because of their numbers advantage.<br /> <br />“Lions are not good in hunting big herd of buffaloes but they are good in hunting three or four at a time.<br /> <br />“The encounter took about two and half hours although on intervals or resting and fighting again.”
