Siloah — Siloah 1970 (Germany, Krautrock, Psychedelic Rock)

The debut album by a band from Munich (Bavaria). They chose the name because they liked the sound of it, not realizing it was a biblical term meaning "Sent One," "Reconciler," or "Messiah." Siloah opened to anyone who wanted to play in the Baumstassen commune (which, incidentally, is where Amon Düül originated), but eventually moved to an abandoned farm. The music was heavily based on mysticism and LSD. They make heavy use of vocals (in English), mantric guitar, flutes, and "ethnic" drums.

Tracks:

01.
