Senate OKs ₱889M OVP 2026 budget<br /> <br />The Senate approves the proposed ₱889.236 million budget for the Office of the Vice President (OVP) for 2026 in under five minutes on Nov. 27, 2025. The amount is ₱156.038 million higher than the ₱733.198-million budget passed by the House of Representatives, effectively restoring the OVP’s funding to its originally proposed level. Duterte was present at the Senate plenary.
