BABY ELEPHANTS USE MOM AS AN UMBRELLA IN ADORABLE ADDO SIGHTING
WITH PIX AND VID
By Mike Jones
Check out this heart–melting moment, where very young baby elephants use their mother as shade during a scorching 38°C day in Addo Elephant National Park, South Africa.
Anne Laing captured the sweet scene, watching the tiny calves, only about six weeks old, huddle closely under their mom as she shielded them from the blazing sun.
Anne said: “It is one of the best things in the world to do. I can watch them for hours. Even at that young age, they are so confident, almost bordering on arrogant.”
She added that the little elephants absolutely love to play with each other, already trying to dominate, making the interactions incredibly funny to watch.
One user commented: ‘The cutest little ellies, they look so safe under mom.’
Another added: ‘They are so tiny but already full of personality. I love this.’
ENDS
