FAMILY MEET HEART DONOR RECIPIENT AFTER SON'S DEATH<br />WITH VID AND PIX<br />BY SHANNON PICKETT<br />This heartwarming moment captures a family getting to meet the person who received their son's heart in an organ donation after his death.<br />Karen Pickren shared how just 15 days before his death, her son opted to be an organ donor and how her and her family were given the chance to meet the man who received his heart.<br />Karen, from Georgia, USA, travelled across the country to Virginia for the moment, where each person took turns to meet the heart recipient.<br />They each took a stethoscope to his chest and were able to hear the son's heartbeat one final time. <br />The video was posted to TikTok where it gained over 450,000 views.<br />Karen said: "My son passed way January 6,2024.<br />"He chose to be an organ donor 15 days before his accident.<br />"This video is of his family meeting the Heart Recipient.<br />"I travelled 500 miles one way for this moment.<br />"Meeting the man that received the gift of life from my son. His heart.<br />"I have a whole new family that welcomed me and my family in with open arms.<br />"They were just as eager as I was to meet. Thank you Lord for making this happen."<br />ENDS
