Forever Amber — The Love Cycle 1969 (UK, Psychedelic, Pop Rock)

The only album by the Cambridge band. Formed in 1967 under the name "The Country Cousins," the band consisted primarily of art students. The group played primarily pop-rock tunes at student parties. In 1968, frontman Christopher Parren met the little-known underground poet John Hudson, whose work greatly impressed Chris. Deciding to record an album featuring Hudson's songs, the band renamed themselves "Forever Amber." Released in 1969 in a limited edition of 99 copies (a collector's dream), Hudson produced it and played electric piano and harpsichord. The album was a very uneven affair, characteristic of its time—a transition from the sunny pop-rock of the "Flower Tribe" to a darker psychedelia. The band broke up in early 1970. Mojo magazine included this album in the top 12 psychedelic albums of the late 1960s.

Tracks:
The Meeting:

01. Me Oh My - 1:12

02.
