In Kyrgyzstan, early parliamentary elections are underway to renew the country’s parliament. The Central Electoral Commission reported that polling stations opened their doors to voters and will close at 8:00 p.m. local time. Around 4.3 million citizens are called to participate in the vote across more than 2,490 polling stations to elect 90 deputies. The final results are expected to be announced before December 14, with the count carried out using automated ballot boxes and verified manually.

#teleSUREnglish #Kyrgyzstan #Elections #Democracy #Parliament #CentralAsia
