The footage shows the confident young calf twisting and gliding through the water.<br />Meanwhile, the mother whale remains close, relaxed and steady allowing her baby a brief moment of play before their long journey back toward Antarctica.<br />Brianna described the pair as the most confident and calm she has ever shared the ocean with, calling the experience nothing short of magical.<br />Brianna shared the video on Instagram where one user commented: “My soul is dying from these shots. This is the power and at the same time the tenderness of a mother. <br />"The vast, boundless ocean and whales.
