LION LEAPS ONTO GIRAFFE IN FAILED HUNTING ATTEMPT<br /> WITH VID<br />BY JAIANSH SHARMA<br />A dramatic moment shows a male lion attempting to bring down a giraffe in a dry, sandy stretch of Tanzania.<br />Ayoub Nyang’ango, from Iringa, Tanzania, filmed the encounter as the lion crept toward a giraffe that was lying down.<br />The big cat suddenly lunged, managing to jump onto the giraffe’s back as it tried to stand.<br />The giraffe quickly regained its footing and shook the lion off before sprinting away across the open terrain. The lion, unable to hold on, eventually walked off after the failed attempt.<br />ENDS
