The Frost – Frost Music 1969 (USA, Psychedelic, Hard Rock)

The debut album by the band from Alpena, Michigan. Formed in the late 1960s by singer and guitarist Dick Wagner, they recorded three albums for Vanguard Records. The Frost were very popular in the Midwest at the time, but the label's poor advertising and lackluster album covers prevented them from achieving national success, leading to the band's disbandment in 1970. Dick Wagner achieved considerable success as a session musician, working with such masters as Lou Reed, Alice Cooper, and Peter Gabriel. The band reunited with its original lineup several times for one-off gigs. In 2008, The Frost were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Michigan.

Tracks:

01.
