Work and Pensions Secretary Pat McFadden announced a new “Youth Guarantee” aimed at supporting almost one million young people currently not in education, employment or training. He said the plan will provide intensive work-coach support, training opportunities for more than 300,000 young people, and subsidised jobs for those still out of work after 18 months, arguing that “Britain’s young people need a better offer.” <br /> Report by Etemadil.
