BRAVE ZEBRA MUM FENDS OFF LEOPARD IN DRAMATIC SHOWDOWN<br />WITH PIX AND VID<br />By Shuk Yee Tsang & Jaiansh Sharma<br />A protective zebra mother was filmed fighting off a leopard as it tried to snatch her young foal.<br />The encounter was captured at Silale Swamp in Tarangire National Park by guide Charles Jackson Magembe from Arusha, Tanzania.<br />The tense moment unfolded as the leopard lunged toward the baby zebra.<br />Before it could strike, the mother charged forward with force.<br />She kicked, pushed, and repeatedly blocked the predator’s attempts.<br />The leopard circled and tried again, but the determined mother refused to give way.<br />After several attempts, the big cat backed off.<br />The zebra mother then calmly walked away with her foal beside her, completely unharmed.<br />Charles said: “The mission of the leopard to kill a baby zebra was unsuccessful.<br />“It was not good timing for the Leopard but luckily for a foal.<br />"You will never be disappointed in the wildness."<br />The comment section poured in with love for the brave mum. <br />One viewer said: "Mother’s love.”<br />Another said: “Smart and protective mare always puts herself between the predator (leopard) and her foal”<br />A third said: "What a courageous mom.
