Cruz shares gold with Malaysian gymnast in vault apparatus<br /><br />Filipino gymnast John Ivan Cruz claims the vault apparatus gold medal at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games on Dec. 12, 2025. After a plea for recomputation of scores, Cruz, who was initially adjudged as silver medalist, emerged as co-champion with Malaysian Muhammad Sharul Aimy with identical average of 13.833 points. Thailand’s Tikumporn Surintorta finished with a bronze medal, scoring 13.717 points.
