A 114-foot Statue of Liberty replica in Brazil has fallen amid ongoing intense weather in the area. The massive replica of the iconic statue, which stood above a parking lot at Brazilian retailer Havan in Guaíba, Rio Grande do Sul state, fell from its pedestal on Monday, Dec. 15, around 3 p.m. local time, according to StringersHub and Newsweek. The metropolitan region had been experiencing wind speeds of 50 to 56 miles per hour, said Guaíba Mayor Marcelo Maranata, causing the statue's collapse, Newsweek reported.
