かつて地球と呼ばれた惑星ゾラはどこまでも砂漠が広がる星となっていた。「イノセント」と呼ばれる支配階級の人々がドーム都市に住み、「シビリアン」と呼ばれる庶民階級の人々がその外に住んでいた。シビリアンたちは、ロックマン（ブルーストーン採掘業者）、ブレーカー、運び屋、交易商人などを営んで生活していた。ゾラには「泥棒、殺人を含むあらゆる犯罪は三日逃げ切れば全て免罪」という「3日限りの掟」が存在した。しかし、シビリアンの少年ジロン・アモスは両親を殺したブレーカーのティンプ・シャローンを、掟の三日を過ぎても追いかけ続けていた。ジロンは目的を果たすために戦闘用ウォーカーマシン「ザブングル」を手に入れようとするが失敗し、その持ち主である交易商人「キャリング一家」のお嬢様エルチ・カーゴや無法者集団「サンドラット」の女リーダーであるラグ・ウラロたちとランドシップ「アイアン・ギアー」に乗り込み、行動を共にすることになる。アイアン・ギアーの派手な活動はやがてイノセントにも注目されるようになる。やがてアイアン・ギアーのクルーたちは反イノセント組織「ソルト」と合流していく。 <br /><br />(For Non-Japanese Viewers) <br />When you watch the video, please click the Gear icon "⚙ "in the top-right corner of the screen to access the subtitle options, then select your language if available. <br /><br />The planet Zola, once called Earth, had become a world of endless desert. The ruling class, known as the “Innocents,” lived in dome cities, while the commoners, called “Civilians,” lived outside them. Civilians made their living as Rockmen (Blue Stone miners), Breakers, transporters, traders, and more. Zola enforced the “Three-Day Rule”: any crime, including theft or murder, was forgiven if the perpetrator evaded capture for three full days. Yet, the civilian boy, Giron Amos, pursued Timp Shaloon, the breaker who murdered his parents, even after the rule's three days had passed. To achieve his goal, Giron attempted to obtain the combat walker machine “Zabungle” but failed. He ended up boarding the landship “Iron Gear” with its owner, the merchant family's daughter Elchi Cargo, and Rag Uralo, the female leader of the outlaw group “Sandrat,” joining their cause. The Iron Gear's flashy activities soon draw the attention of Innocent. Eventually, the Iron Gear crew joins forces with the anti-Innocent organization “Salt.”
