Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) said it struck a Russian Navy Il-38N anti-submarine aircraft in a drone attack at the Yeysk airfield in southern Russia.<br /><br />According to the SBU, the action took place prior to the explosion of a Varshavyanka-class submarine in Novorossiysk, as stated in a communiqué released by the agency’s press service on its official Telegram channel.<br /><br />The statement said the aircraft was based at the airfield hosting the 859th Combat Employment and Flight Personnel Retraining Center of the Russian Navy’s Naval Aviation.
