This video offers a close-up look at a jaw-dropping silo collapse. <br /><br />"I work at this grain facility in Illinois, and that day started like any other — we were doing regular checks on one of the old silos that had been acting up for a while," the filmer, Santiago, told WooGlobe. "A few of us had noticed small cracks along the side and even reported that it was starting to lean a bit, but nobody expected it to give out that soon. <br /><br />"That morning, we were moving grain from one silo to another when we started hearing these weird creaking sounds — like metal bending under pressure. Our supervisor told us to clear the area just in case.
