2026-01-02 0 Dailymotion

At the start of the year, the Casa Rosada issued an emergency decree (DNU) to be published Friday, reforming the intelligence law without congressional approval. The measure empowers agents, establishes a new agency, and places espionage under the General Secretariat of the Presidency, headed by Karina Milei, the president’s sister. According to the decree, the new office will be part of the Cabinet Office led by Manuel Adorni, a key aide to the Secretariat. The agency will be called the National Cybersecurity Center and will operate as a decentralized body under the Secretariat of Science, Technology, and Innovation.

#teleSUREnglish #Argentina #IntelligenceLaw #Cybersecurity #Politics
