The Strollers — Waiting Is… 1973 (Malaysia, Psychedelic Rock)<br /><br />The Strollers formed in 1965 in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia's most famous band of the 1960s and 1970s was virtually unknown outside of their home country. Aside from a couple of singles, the musicians released their only album in 1973, which boasted excellent sound. All the songs on the album were self-composed and sung in flute. The compositions range from heavy psychedelia with organ, guitar, and flute to late 1960s British pop with a touch of funk and prog elements.
