魔法使いのタルるートと江戸城本丸のダブル主人公が繰り広げるギャグ漫画。本丸は勉強・運動ともに苦手で喧嘩も弱くてイジメられっ子であり、その上スケベという、絵に描いたようなダメ小学生。ある時、絵本作家の父の部屋にある大魔法百科の魔法陣で偶然にも魔法使いのタルるートを召喚した。そんな本丸は、タルるートの魔法を悪用してイタズラを繰り返したり騒動を巻き起こしたり、不敵なライバルキャラである原子力（はらこ つとむ）と幾度となく対決する。原子と本丸の「○○で勝負だ!」は本作品の名物の一つであり、本丸は原子との勝負に勝つためにタルるートの魔法で特訓をすることで次第に成長していく。ボクシング、相撲、サッカー、水泳など、本丸は気合と根性で辛く厳しい特訓をこなし、遂には南野小学校支配を目論む座剣邪寧蔵を倒すために魔法なしの山籠りの特訓で拳法まで体得し、南野小学校を守るための大バトルを繰り広げる。 <br /><br />(For Non-Japanese Viewers) <br />When you watch the video, please click the Gear icon "⚙ "in the top-right corner of the screen to access the subtitle options, then select your language if available. <br /><br />A gag manga featuring dual protagonists: the wizard Tarurot and the Edo Castle Honmaru. Honmaru is a textbook failure of an elementary schooler—bad at both academics and sports, weak in fights, bullied, and on top of that, a pervert. One day, he accidentally summons the wizard Tarurot through a magic circle in the Great Magic Encyclopedia found in his picture book author father's room. From then on, Honmaru repeatedly abuses Tarurot's magic for mischief and causes chaos, while also facing off against his fearless rival character, Harako Tsutomu, time and again. The “Let's settle this with ○○!” challenge between Harako and Honmaru is one of the series' signature features. To win against Harako, Honmaru undergoes special training using Tarurot's magic, gradually growing stronger. Through sheer determination and grit, Honmaru endured grueling training in boxing, sumo, soccer, swimming, and more. To defeat Zaken Ja Neizo, who sought to dominate Minamino Elementary School, Honmaru even mastered martial arts through rigorous mountain training without magic, ultimately engaging in a major battle to protect the school.
