Kanlaon volcano emits a weak ash emission that began at 5:55 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6.<br /><br />The plumes rose to 350 meters above the crater before drifting southwest.<br /><br />According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), Alert Level 2 remains in effect over Kanlaon Volcano.
