Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in Oakland to demand an immediate end to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations. Carrying U.S. flags and banners with messages such as “Protect Immigrants,” protesters called for comprehensive reform of federal immigration policy and denounced ICE interventions in local communities. The mobilization extended to major cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Seattle, Detroit, and Washington, D.C., as well as locales in Arizona, North Carolina, and New Hampshire. Organizers reported that the action was part of a nationwide day of protest involving more than a thousand coordinated events against the agency.

#teleSUREnglish #UnitedStates #Oakland #ICE #Immigration #Protests #MassMobilization
