BJP MP Sambit Patra launched a sharp attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, accusing her government of pursuing appeasement politics and warning that the state is being pushed toward political and social isolation.</p>Referring to Bengal as a land of spirituality, sacrifice, and penance, Patra expressed concern that the current governance has created an atmosphere similar to “Banga-Bhanga.” Questioning the direction of the state, he asked, <i>“Is Bengal a part of India or not?”</i></p>The remarks have sparked strong political reactions and intensified the ongoing debate over governance, appeasement, and national unity in West Bengal.</p>
