ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಗೊಮ್ಮೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮಠದ ಆಡಳಿತ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರವು ಅಷ್ಟಮಠಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದೊಂದು ಪುರಾತನ ಮತ್ತು ವೈಶಿಷ್ಟ್ಯತೆಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ವಿಧಿ ವಿಧಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮಠದ ಈ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯು ತಲಾ 2 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅವಧಿಗೆ ಅಷ್ಟಮಠಗಳಿಗೆ ನಡುವೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತೆ. <br /> <br />Every two years, the administration of the Sri Krishna Matha is transferred among the Ashta Mathas.
