"Half-Awake" tells the story of Gu Yixiao, a ruthless business tycoon, and his secretary, Ye Xingwan, who he once tormented due to a past misunderstanding. Ye Xingwan turns the tables by using herself as bait in a love-hate entanglement, leading Gu Yixiao to confront his past and seek redemption.
