Palace: PH govt won't interfere in Duterte ICC pre-trial proceedings<br /><br />Malacañang on Jan. 27, 2026 says the Philippine government will not interfere in the trial of former president Rodrigo Duterte at the International Criminal Court (ICC). Palace Press Officer Claire Castro issued the statement during a press conference a day after the ICC's pre-trial chamber ruled that the 80-year old Duterte was fit to stand trial.
