True Myth — True Myth 1979 (Canada, Progressive Rock)

The debut album by a Canadian band from London, Ontario, formed by keyboardist Tom Treumuth, who became the band's main creative force and even named it, a clever play on his own last name. He is also credited with landing the band a contract with Warner Bros. in 1979. Their debut was the first digital album released in Canada and the second worldwide! True Myth originally formed as an instrumental quartet, but moved to Toronto to record the album, where they were joined by vocalist Bruce Cumming. Their music diverged from typical Canadian French-language prog and was more reminiscent of the best American examples like Ethos and Cathedral. In 1981, the band recorded their second release, Telegram, which, following the debut, was quickly lost in time.

Tracks:

01. Reach For The Heavens - 0:00

02.
