PROTECTED DEER RUSHES INTO PHONE SHOP AND JUMPS OVER COUNTER<br />WITH VID<br />By Pankaj Yadav<br />Watch as a mobile phone shop owner was left stunned after an unexpected customer sprinted through the door.<br />The video, filmed by Jiang Yonghan in Sichuan province in southwestern China, shows the shop owner standing behind the counter using a phone when a wild deer suddenly rushes into the store.<br />The animal immediately leaps onto the counter and runs deeper into the shop, causing a moment of panic and confusion.<br />The owner quickly recognizes the animal as a red muntjac, a protected species in China, and chooses not to scare it.<br />Instead of chasing it away, he calmly climbs up onto the counter and stays still, giving the deer space while keeping a safe distance.<br />The deer remains inside briefly before help arrives. It was later safely transferred to a professional wildlife protection organization for proper care.<br />ENDS
