SUDDEN GALE TURNS HIGHLAND LAKE INTO SWIRLING SNOWDRIFT<br />WITH VID<br />By Pankaj Yadav<br />A peaceful mountain landscape suddenly transformed into something dramatic after a powerful gust swept across a highland lake sending snow and mist spinning through the air.<br />The video, filmed by Jiang Tianxi at Ganheba Milk Lake in Lijiang, Yunnan, China, shows a group of hikers arriving at the scenic base just as strong winds begin tearing across the shoreline.<br />Within seconds, loose snow is lifted off the ground and pushed forward in thick white plumes, creating the eerie appearance of smoke rolling over the lake’s edge.<br />Jiang captures the gusts carving moving lines across the snow, with fine powder swirling upward in waves and twisting into the air.<br />ENDS
