Former CNN journalist Don Lemon was arrested on January 30, according to The New York Times and CBS News. Lemon was taken into federal custody in Los Angeles weeks after covering a protest inside a St. Paul church. His attorney, Abbe Lowell, said Lemon went to cover the protest, not participate and called the arrest an "unprecedented attack on the First Amendment." CBS News reported Lemon will face a grand jury in connection with his arrest, but the charges were not immediately revealed.
