RENOVATION TURNS INTO SURPRISE RACCOON RESCUE MISSION<br />WITH PIX AND VID<br />By Shuk Yee Tsang<br />A startled raccoon peeks out from inside a house wall after renovators break through plaster to investigate strange noises coming from within.<br />Todd Enright, 56, a house flipper from New York, USA, discovered the unexpected guest while renovating a property and rescued them out the wall.<br />Todd said he initially feared the sounds could be coming from a trapped pet.<br />The team had been working on the property when they began hearing movement behind the walls.<br />They carefully opened up the wall, a raccoon emerged from the cavity, appearing confused but not aggressive. The animal was safely guided out of the property.<br />He explains this is the first time he found a raccoon in a wall. <br />He said: “I thought at first maybe it was a trapped cat for some reason and yes it is the first time. <br />"Have found something in the walls that was alive and not dead, LOL.”<br />Todd said: “We were renovating a flip house and heard noises coming in the walls and the rest is history.”<br />The unusual rescue sparked mixed reactions online.<br />One viewer commented: “Lol give him a minute, bro just had an experience.”<br />Another wrote: “He literally about to go back in the hole, he made in that house lol.”<br />Others added: “I’d be checking for baby’s and to also make sure that wasn’t someone’s pet.”<br />And one joked: “He was literally apologising on his way out be nice.”<br />END
