Jesy Nelson has said she attempted to take her own life just days before leaving Little Mix, describing the period as the lowest point of her life.In her Prime Video docuseries Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix, released on Friday, the 34-year-old reflects on the events leading up to her departure from the band in 2020 and the toll on her mental health.Fighting back tears, Nelson said she felt “really alone” in the weeks before her overdose, claiming her bandmates, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, did not fully understand the depth of her distress.“I was so sad. I was so down. I knew after coming out of hospital that I mentally couldn't do it [be in the band] any more,” she said.
