इस बार गर्मी का मौसम पाकिस्तान के लिए सिर्फ तपिश नहीं, बल्कि पानी की भारी किल्लत लेकर आने वाला है। हालात ऐसे बनते दिख रहे हैं कि वहां बूंद-बूंद पानी के लिए हाहाकार मच सकता है। पहले से ही जल संकट से जूझ रहे पाकिस्तान की मुश्किलें अब और बढ़ने वाली हैं, क्योंकि भारत एक अहम जल परियोजना को पूरा करने जा रहा है, जिसका सीधा असर रावी नदी के पानी पर पड़ेगा। भारत का यह कदम 1960 की सिंधु जल संधि के पूरी तरह अनुरूप है। इस संधि के तहत रावी, सतलुज और ब्यास जैसी पूर्वी नदियों पर भारत का पूरा अधिकार है। अब तक जो पानी बुनियादी ढांचे के अभाव में पाकिस्तान चला जाता था, भारत उसी को रोक रहा है। <br /> <br />This time the summer season is going to bring not only heat but also severe water shortage for Pakistan.
