Police detained a man allegedly found in an intoxicated condition. However, what began as a routine arrest soon escalated into a public confrontation at Bhelai Chowk.<br /><br />Scuffle in the Middle of the Road<br /><br />Eyewitnesses said that as soon as the man was taken into custody, his wife and daughter confronted the police team, accusing them and attempting to obstruct the arrest. According to sources, proceedings are being initiated against him under the Excise Act in view of Bihar’s prohibition law.
