Heavy rainfall expected from Mackay to Innisfail on the north coast

More rain is forecast for parts of far north Queensland over the weekend. Multiple roads have been closed, with people rescued from floodwaters. It's almost certain to be a soggy night for people attending a rare major concert in Ingham.
