UK government announces £14bn plan for railways in Wales

Sir Keir Starmer has backed a number of railway projects across Wales aimed at modernising the network and improving commutes on a recent visit to the Taff's Well depot near Cardiff. He endorsed a pipeline of rail improvements set out by Transport for Wales, with the cost of all the schemes under consideration estimated to be up to £14bn. The First Minister of Wales, Eluned Morgan, also delivered a speech during the Prime Minister's visit.
