"A home ownership scheme allowing first home buyers to put down a 5 percent deposit for some homes is being broadened in Darwin and Palmerston. The scheme, which currently applies to homes valued up to $600,000 will soon extend to houses worth up to $750,000. There's hope the scheme will provide some relief, in a market where property values are rising rapidly."
