The world's busiest airports, Dubai International Airport, was hit after Iran launched missile attacks in response to US-Israel strikes on Tehran and other Iranian cities on 28 February, leaving at least 4 people injured, an airport statement said, as of 8 am, 1 March.<br /><br />Airspace over Dubai and Abu Dhabi was shut, leading to mass flight cancellations and lakhs of passengers stranded at the airport.<br /><br />Authorities said debris from intercepted missiles also caused a fire at Jebel Ali Port, but no one was hurt.<br /><br />Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi was also shut after the strikes.<br /><br />Strikes were also reported at other airports in the region, including Kuwait International Airport, leading to more closures and cancellations.
