SEAGULL SNATCHES FISH AND CHIPS IN TASTY SEASIDE HEIST<br />WITH PIX AND VID<br />By Shuk Yee Tsang<br />A seaside lunch turned into chaos when a seagull swooped in and stole a man’s fish and chips in a split-second raid.<br />Darren Dowling, a 29-year-old content creator known as Dazza from Glasgow, UK, experienced the seagull heist during a visit to Anstruther, Scotland.<br />The incident, which he says is the first time it has happened to him, unfolded in front of stunned bystanders.<br />Darren said he was enjoying a relaxed day by the coast when the bird suddenly launched itself toward his meal.<br />He described the moment as shocking and fast, saying he initially thought he was being attacked.<br />Despite the commotion, no one intervened, though a nearby dog began barking as chips hit the ground during the scramble.<br />Dazza said: “It was chaos. I honestly thought I was getting attacked by someone.<br />“I was casually eating my fish and chips, having a lovely day, then all of a sudden I get a very large seagull going full pelt into my dinner.<br />“Very rude on the seagull’s part, if I do say so myself.<br />“Thankfully, this is the first time this has happened to me.<br />“I’m not sure I’d ever leave the house if it had happened multiple times because at that point, you’ve clearly got a hit out on you by the seagull mafia.<br />“Not a single bystander came over to help, which makes sense because they were all in shock.<br />“There was a wee old lady with a dog, the dog went bananas at the seagull.<br />“I like to think it was barking to protect me, but it was 100% just after the chips.”<br />END
