A video from a village in Pilibhit district, Uttar Pradesh, has gone viral on social media, showing a heated altercation following a dispute allegedly over ₹350.<br /><br />In the video, voices are heard arguing, with one person saying, “I gave you ₹350, why did you slap my brother?” The clip also contains abusive language. Allegations claim that after the dispute escalated, a group entered a house and assaulted members of the family. Around half a dozen people, including a woman, were reportedly injured and are undergoing treatment.<br /><br />The viral video has also raised questions over a policeman allegedly slapping a young man during the incident. Social media users have criticised the alleged action, stating that if someone is guilty, legal procedures should be followed instead of physical assault.<br /><br />However, the Pilibhit Police have issued a clarification. According to police, two groups were fighting among themselves when local officers intervened.
