Patrick Dempsey shared an emotional tribute to his former Grey's Anatomy costar Eric Dane who died at 53. On Virgin Radio U.K.'s The Chris Evans Breakfast Show, Dempsey said he felt "so sad" for Dane's children. Dempsey said he texted with Dane about a week ago, and friends who visited said Dane was losing his ability to speak, was bedridden, and had trouble swallowing. Dempsey also recalled Dane's humor on set and praised him for raising awareness around ALS in the final months of his life.
