Govt's fuel subsidy program to extend to transport workers outside Metro Manila<br /><br />Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the fuel subsidy program would extend to transport workers outside Metro Manila after Holy Week. The initial rollout provided P5,000 to nearly 139,000 drivers in Metro Manila, including tricycle drivers, motorcycle taxi drivers, bus drivers, and jeepney drivers within the capital region. Castro said the Palace would provide and distribute 10 kilos of rice every other month for the entire year to middle-class workers and vulnerable families.
