Skipping School <br />By Reid Baer <br /><br />It is sinus weather today; <br />overcast skies are to blame, they <br />make me sleepy so I dose in <br />a kind way – getting up to eat <br />a little - then onto the couch <br />half awake and up again to <br />take the puppy out where it is <br />starting to rain - then flopping back <br />into bed, my lovely old bed, <br />where dreams take me away resting <br />uninvolved in anything of <br />purpose content with the mundane <br />with only a whisper of shame <br />that I could be doing something <br />more and more things just stay the same. <br />-
