On Friday in East Grinstead, Kemi Badenoch said she supported the idea of public prayer “for all faiths”, but criticised what she called “gender-segregated events that are not inclusive”.She added: “One of the things that both Nick Timothy and I can say is that we’ve been to many Iftar events.“This one was quite different, it was not welcoming to others, despite what the organisers say.”
