In the Northern Territory town of Katherine, a huge sigh of relief for locals after the bureau of meteorology said major flooding is no longer expected. Moderate flooding is likely at Nitmiluk, but only minor flooding at Katherine Bridge later tonight. It comes after ex-tropical cyclone Narelle dumped a large amount of rain into already saturated catchments.
